Sometimes, in order to live, we must die and leave behind what we were. The third book of the Trilogy of Malamor concludes the stories of Angela, Rayen and the quirky town of Almahue and its hopeless people, doomed to suffer the spell of malamor. With the town destroyed by a devastating earthquake and Fabian in the depths of the earth, Angela will delve into the bottom of the crack, because she has decided that even if she dies trying to rescue his love, she will not allow the misfortune never separate them again. Times have changed, because the tree in the center of the square of Almahue has now become a corpse lying of branches and roots as dry as the sands of a desert. That can only announce a transformation, the end of an era. It has also come the time for explanations and Rosa will reveal something of her past that jealously keeps: a new legend. And Angela will be forced to use all her strength to face Rayén and The Decapitator on a journey through time and geography.

Quizá los tiempos han cambiado y aquel árbol en el centro de la plaza de Almahue, símbolo del malamor, ahora yace convertido en un cadáver de ramas y raíces tan secas como las arenas de un desierto. Aquello solo puede anunciar una transformación, el fin de una era. Ha llegado también el tiempo de las explicaciones y Rosa revelará algo de ese pasado que guarda celosamente: una nueva leyenda. Y Ángela deberá sacar fuerzas para enfrentarse a Rayén y al Decapitador en un viaje a través del tiempo y de la geografía.
