30 years ago, Camilo Sarmiento –recently graduated from sociology– and Josefina Alcantara –a young graduate in literature– had three goals in their life: to love each other forever, to travel around the world and not have children. After their long travel (o circumnavigation, journeying, etc.) they would come back to Chile: he would work as a public servant and she would become a writer.But things rarely go as planned and before they realized it, the children began to arrive. First, it was Barbara, then Cristobal, Rosario, Sofia, Felipe and finally the twins. Together they constituted a bizarre (peculiar? weird? funny?) family in which anything was possible.

To keep and raise this large family, travelling and public service were put over and their place was taken by Camilo’s third passion: Media Link, a company devoted to market studies. With the running of the years, Media Link turned into a prestigious company. In this new role, Camilo was always assisted by Ana Maria Rojas, his efficient secretary who had come to work with him as an intern when she was only 20 years old. For many years, Ana Maria has been responsible of keeping her boss’s agenda, but she has also been madly in love with him.

Camilo’s perfect life will change dramatically when Josephine discovers she has cancer. Shocked, Josefina decides to find, before dying, a new wife for her husband and a new mother for her seven children. To achieve her plan, she asks the help of Anita. Anita will thus have the opportunity to realize the impossible love she feels for her boss.

Hace 30 años, Camilo Sarmiento –recién titulado de sociología–- y Josefina Alcántara -una joven licenciada en literatura- tenían tres metas en la vida: amarse para siempre, recorrer el mundo y no tener hijos. Cuando se cansaran de viajar volverían a Chile, él para trabajar como servidor público y ella dedicada a la escritura.

Pero las cosas casi nunca salen según lo planeado y antes de que se dieran cuenta, empezaron a llegar los hijos. Primero fue Bárbara, luego Cristóbal, Rosario, Sofía, Felipe y finalmente los mellizos. Juntos formaron una familia extravagante, en la que cualquier cosa es posible.

Para mantener esa gran familia, los viajes y el servicio público quedaron de lado y su lugar fue ocupado por la tercera pasión de Camilo: Media Link, una empresa dedicada a las encuestas y a los estudios de mercado. Partiendo de cero Camilo convirtió a Media Link en una empresa de prestigio. Para esto contó con la ayuda de Ana María Rojas, su secretaria, quién llegó como estudiante en práctica. Desde hace 20 años Ana María está encargada de llevar la agenda de su jefe, pero también desde entonces está perdidamente enamorada de él.

La vida perfecta de Camilo cambiará radicalmente cuando Josefina descubra que tiene cáncer y decida encontrar antes de morir –con la ayuda de la eficiente Anita– a la mujer que la reemplazará con Camilo y sus siete hijos cuando ella ya no esté. Aquí Anita verá la oportunidad de hacer realidad el amor imposible que siente por su jefe.
